I was there for vanilla bean. They only had one vial with two pods for over 7 bux. I took it and a jar of vanilla bean paste. In addition, as a serious market research effort I felt it necessary to sample a dessert from their bakery. I know, you must be thinking, "but she was on lunch, how dare she have to work!" and it wasn't all fun and games...however, I opted for the coconut cupcake. you could tell they used a meringue buttercream for the icing and more than likely a pre-made mix. It was good......but I think it could have been more. It set me back $3 so the expense is somewhat of a deterrence (sp?) for the future.
So far that's three different cupcakes I've tried recently. A strawberry one from Sugarbakers Cafe & Bakery, A red velvet one from Saweet Cupcakes, and this coconut one. Overall, the best fresh, from-scratch taste came from Sugarbakers. That was a cupcake by which to compare all others.
