So anyway, I only went to this yuppie bar because of the Girl's Inc. council launch party. It was everything I expected; professional-looking crowd of people drinking wine, smacking about whatever it is yuppies smack about and enjoying the food in an ambient atmosphere. I didn't get a chance to sample some vino (waaay too many peeps at the bar), but I had some of their pizza. It was....well....pizza-like. The dough and cheese were fresh and the variety of toppings were flavorful and high-quality. Can't say much else except one of the patrons had a menu in front of him but he was busy chatting it up and yet, although all the servers were busy trying to squeeze their 20-something behinds between the crowds to refresh drinks and could not provide a menu for me, he refused to let me look at his...WTF? So he realized he was being a douche and then handed it to me and said he'd like it back when I was done.
I was there for the council launch and some good old smack-talking with my sistas from another mista co-workers "V-dog" and "Iris the Spanker." Afterward, we had to meet for an Committee Meeting but there was no way we could stay there, so we headed out to good old-fashioned Chili's. Yes I am aware, it is a chain, However considering its long-standing status it was not too "hip" for comfortable seating. It was so calm, soo much better....
